Our next meeting is April 30th and we are delighted to have Jackie
“Bee Bee the Clown” Reynolds as our guest speaker.
Jackie Reynolds’ Road to Being a Clown: After deciding not to be a dentist,
or a nun, Jackie Reynolds became a chemical engineer making photographic film for Polaroid. (That career did not develop…)
As Bee Bee the Clown and Jackie the Magician, she has brought comedy magic, puppets and ventriloquism,
balloons, paints and juggling to about 100 events each year since 1992, including parties, libraries, stage shows for community
festivals, senior centers and nursery schools. Jackie also entertains as Mrs. Santa, an occasional Easter Bunny, Fairy Godmother
and Cat in the Hat. She has written and illustrated two children’s books, Bee Bee’s Circus at the Counting Fair
and Number Fun Activity Book. She speaks Spanish and some Japanese.
In Erie, PA at COAI 2015 she won first place for makeup and costume for comedy white
face. At COAI 2002 in Saratoga Springs, NY she won first place for her individual skit, Ice Fishing. Other awards for magic,
balloons, and paints have been sprinkled throughout her career. Most of her skills are self-taught, (in the basement before
a mirror or video camera) since there was no local clown alley or relatively few conferences due to family responsibilities.
She has an online presence with face book, google, Yelp and through an email contact
list. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org and 845-758-1938.
She’s delighted to join
the Granite State Clowns to share parts of her “Best and Brightest Magic/ Puppet Show” and “Magic, Balloon
and Ventriloquism Workshop!”
